I want to connect the people who care about a place with the people who can help investigate its problems. That means seeking qualified environmental scientists, laboratories, community voices and people who can help build a responsible organization.
Mycopath is currently an unregistered initiative. This is my personal fundraiser for its formation and environmental research. Nonprofit formation and federal tax-exempt recognition are separate processes.

Explore selected plants, root zones and microbial systems as parts of designed water treatment. The first questions are what is in the water, which process could help, and how we would measure the result.
Water researchInvestigate whether carefully designed vegetation can reduce exposure to particular air pollutants. A useful design accounts for airflow and location, measures performance, and works alongside efforts to reduce pollution at its source.
Air-quality researchStudy biological approaches for suitable contaminants in soil. Match the method to the chemistry, compare it with meaningful controls, and track what happens to both the contaminant and any remaining material.
Mycoremediation researchHOW LOCAL WORK COULD REACH FURTHER
Changing the world starts with work that deserves to be repeated. Our ambition is to build a path from a local question to reliable findings that other communities can assess and learn from.
LISTEN & DEFINE
Review public environmental records and community priorities. Narrow the work to a specific pollutant, setting and question that fits the resources available.
DESIGN & MEASURE
Seek qualified guidance on a study with clear measurements, relevant comparisons and responsible material handling. Establish how success will be judged before testing begins.
REPORT & LEARN
Explain the methods, spending, findings and limitations in plain language. A result that rules out an unsuitable approach can also improve the next decision.
ADAPT & REPEAT
If an approach proves useful, document what made it work and what conditions matter. Further projects would need their own local evaluation, resources and permissions.

NOW / PREPARE
Build the research reading list, explain the proposed budget, prepare the fundraiser, and identify the skills and community input the initiative needs.

AT $44,000 / ESTABLISH
Jordan will establish the nonprofit, gather a founding team, and start the organizational and research work. Qualified advice will guide governance, filings and operating arrangements.
Milestone: Formation documents, defined responsibilities and an initial work plan.
WITH QUALIFIED GUIDANCE / DESIGN
Assess feasibility, seek laboratory and technical support, define methods and costs, and secure any necessary access and permissions before hands-on research.
Milestone: A reviewed protocol and a decision on whether a trial is appropriate.
IF FEASIBLE / TEST
Run a contained trial if the funding, design and required permissions support it. Compare outcomes with the relevant controls and account for remaining contaminants and waste.
Milestone: Documented results that inform the next decision.
AFTER EVALUATION / REPORT
Publish an understandable account of the work and spending. Explain what should be repeated, improved or stopped, and what resources a next project would need.
Milestone: An evidence-based next step that supporters can review.
